Job Title: Support Engineer for Mitel Telecommunication Systems
Department: Service
Reports To: Director of Managed Services

Summary: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to communications systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Mitel Certifications (3300IP, SX2000, SX200, NUPOINT VM) Must have experience with MiCollab, Contact Center, MiCloud

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to voice systems, software, and hardware.

Respond to queries either in person or over the phone remote.

Maintain daily performance of voice systems.

Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.

Walk customer through problem-solving process.

Install, modify, and repair computer / voice hardware and software.

Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), MS Server, Exchange, Active Directory, SIP Station and Trunks, VMware, Sql, Linux, Redhat, CentOs and other systems

Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.

Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.

Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
